Instant Channel Programming and Recall

CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) and DCS (Digital Coded Squelch) Codes: Choose from 50 CTCSS and 104 digital codes that can be sent with your transmission. The digital code is recognised by the selected receivers enabling them to receive the transmission. Receivers that do not recognise the digital code remain  silent, blocking out unwanted conversations.

Busy Channel Lockout Function: Disables your transmitter while activity is detected on the channel.

Range Extender (Duplex) Capability: Radio can transmit via local  repeater stations, if available, which re-transmits over a wider area, up to an extra 30-100km depending on location, height and availability of the local repeater station.
